CHURCH SUPPER SLOPPY JOES 
7 lb. lean hamburger
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 qt. tomato puree or sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, brown hamburger, onion and celery. Cook in batches if necessary. Drain any fat. Add all remaining ingredients except last two. cook 10 minutes. Stir in cheese; cook until melted. Recipe can be made ahead of time and frozen in batches when serving a crowd. Yields 50 servings.
