EASY POTATO SOUP 
A FAMILY FAVORITE!

1 (2 lb.) bag of frozen hash brown potatoes (tator tots)
1 (32 oz.) box chicken broth
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 large onion, chopped
6 baby carrots, finely grated
1 large celery stalk, finely grated
1 tbsp. bacon grease or lard
garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon pepper and cumin, to taste
1 lb. Velveeta cheese (1/2 block)
1 (8 oz.) tub dairy sour cream
1/2 lb. chopped ham

Combine first 9 ingredients and seasonings. Cook till vegetables are tender. Then add 1/2 large block of Velveeta cheese, sour cream and chopped ham, turn heat down to simmer for about 30 minutes.

Note: I never add water, if it is too thick add some milk. Takes about 45 minutes to make.
