POOR MAN'S SOUP 
2 lbs. hamburger
6 carrots, cut up
1 1/2 to 2 c. celery
1/2 or more sm. cabbage
1 med. onion, cut up
1 lg. can V-8 juice
3 potatoes, cut up

Cook meat and onion and drain well. Put meat mix and V-8 together. Add rest but put cabbage in last and cook slowly until tender. You may want to add water. It may become too thick or a can of tomatoes. Makes alot and longer it sets the better.
