GINGER FRUIT CRISP 
16 old fashion ginger snaps
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained

Using a rolling pin, finely crush cookies in a plastic bag. in small skillet or saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat. Blend in crumbs, nuts and brown sugar. Arrange fruit in a lightly greased 2 quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle crumb mixture over fruit. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 6.
