CHICKEN IN THE SACK 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up and salted

Sauce:

1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. sour vinegar
3 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 to 1 tsp. red pepper

Mix, stir and heat sauce until butter is melted. Grease inside of brown paper bag.

Preheat oven to 450°F. Dip chicken in sauce and place in paper bag, folding tightly and place bag in roaster. Cook for 15 minutes at 450°F. Reduce heat to 350°F and cook 1 1/2 hours.
