SKILLET FETTUCCINE | |
1/2 c. coarsely chopped green pepper 1 tbsp. bacon drippings 1 pkg. French's spaghetti mix 1 sm. can tomato paste 8 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained 6 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled 3-4 slices process American cheese Saute green pepper in bacon drippings in skillet until tender but not brown. Add spaghetti sauce mix, tomato paste and 1 3/4 cups water. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in cooked noodles and crumbled bacon. Heat through. Cut cheese into strips. Arrange over noodles. 4 servings. |
