3 c. figs, mashed
3 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) strawberry Jello mix

Combine figs, Jello, and sugar. Let stand for 30 minutes. Bring to boiling point (not a fast boil). Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Pour into jars and seal.
