EGG NOG | |
1/3 c. sugar 2 egg yolks 4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. sugar 2 egg whites 1 tbsp. vanilla 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped Beat 1/3 cup sugar and egg yolks together. Mix with milk and salt, cook over medium heat until spoon coats. Beat 3 tablespoons sugar into egg whites until soft peaks form, add to custard with vanilla, egg whites and 1/2 cup whipped cream. Chill about 4 hours. |
