NO ROLL SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, room temperature
3/4 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter together in a large bowl. Add oil, eggs, and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients into sugar mixture. Chill dough at least 2 hours. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Grease the bottom of a water tumbler and dip into a small dish of granulated sugar. Flatten each dough ball with the sugar coated glass. Dip glass into sugar before flattening each ball. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
