SOFT CARAMELED POPCORN 
14 c. popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. Karo white syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Pop corn in air popper, or with very little oil. Measure into large ovenproof bowl or pan, being careful to sift out any unpopped kernels. Meanwhile, stir together brown sugar, Karo syrup, butter and salt in 2 quart saucepan. Heat to boiling on medium heat, reduce heat and continue boiling 5 - 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir well. Will foam up. Pour over popcorn and stir until well coated. Place in 200 degree oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent clumping together. Can bake longer for crunchier popcorn.
