FRESH MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
2 1/2 tbsp. Puritan oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. minced garlic, optional

Slice the mushrooms and saute in hot oil for 3 minutes. Add soy sauce and fry for another 2 minutes. Mix together salt, sugar and cornstarch in a little water. Add to the mushrooms and cook until the sauce is clear.
