CREAMED PEAS 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. Coffee-mate
salt and pepper to taste
1 (1 lb.) can peas (undrained)

In 1-quart glass casserole, melt butter (High) 30 to 45 seconds. Blend with flour, cream substitute, salt and pepper. Add undrained peas. Microwave (High) 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until hot and slightly thickened. Boiled onions are very good in this sauce!

If using frozen peas, add 1 (10 ounce) box plus 1 cup water. One or 2 tablespoons sugar can also be added.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
