BEST EVER CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. baking cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. water
2/3 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. white vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

In a mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Add the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat on low speed for 1 minute. Beat on medium for 1 minute. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool.

Fluffy Chocolate Frosting:

1 c. cold milk
1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix (may use whatever you want)
1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

For frosting, in a mixing bowl, beat the milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Beat in whipped topping. Spread over cold cake. Refrigerate leftovers.

Yields 12 to 15 servings.
