BARBECUE FOR A CROWD 
8 lbs. lean ground beef
3 (12 oz.) jars chili sauce
1 (44 oz.) bottle catsup
3 green peppers, chopped
8 stalks celery, chopped
3 lg. onions, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp. sugar

Brown beef in a large skillet. Break into small pieces while stirring. Drain excess fat. In another skillet saute all vegetables in butter until soft. Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently, to prevent sticking. Great served on hamburger buns. NOTE: Can be made ahead and frozen. Recipe can easily be cut in half.
