"IOWA" CHOPS 
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. catsup
3/4 c. white sugar
4 to 6 "Iowa" (one inch thick) pork chops

In a saucepan, bring all of the above ingredients to a boil. Turn off the heat. roll the "Iowa" chops in two beaten eggs. Coat with cornstarch and brown in oil. Put in a flat dish and pour sauce over the chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes turning over after 20 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
