ANGEL DELIGHT | |
1 angel food cake, baked 2 family size pkg. instant vanilla pudding 4 c. milk 1 pt. sour cream or lg. carton Tear angel food cake into pieces or 4 small packages diet instant pudding, 4 cups milk and 2 small cartons sour cream or 1 large (12 oz.). Fold angel food cake pieces into instant vanilla pudding which has been prepared and with sour cream. Pour into appropriate 9x13 inch or 16x20 inch pan and top with canned cherry pie filling. Refrigerate until time to serve. 2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling. DIET CHERRIES: 1 (20 oz.) bag frozen cherries 3/4 c. water 2 tbsp. Sweet 10 Red food color Cornstarch Cook cherries and when cooked, add red food color to make deep bright red and add Sweet 10 and thicken with cornstarch and cool. When cool, put on top of cake and pudding mixture. 24 to 32 (2x2 inch) servings. |
