ZUCCHINI FRITTERS 
1 med. zucchini, sliced & cut lengthwise in strips
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Shortening, for deep frying

In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal and garlic salt. Combine milk and egg; add to dry ingredients. Dip zucchini strips in batter until coated. Fry, a few at a time, until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Good with hot dip.

DIP:

1/2 c. barbeque sauce
1 tbsp. horseradish

Mix together in serving bowl.
