SWISS APPLE COBBLER 
10 c. apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. water

Mix together and pour into 9 x 12 inch glass baking dish.

BATTER:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter, softened
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Mix together and pour over apples, spread out. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until done.
