GRITS AND CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese 1 c. grits, cooked in 4 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. milk 2 eggs 1 sm. clove garlic (optional) Cook 1 cup grits. Add 1 stick butter (1/4 pound) and grated sharp cheese; mix. Add 2 well beaten eggs to 1/4 cup milk and mix. Pour in greased casserole. Bake 45 minutes in 425 degree oven. |
