FIDEO (VERMICELLI) 
1 c. vermicelli
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 oz. tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. comino (cumin)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown vermicelli in vegetable oil until golden brown, stirring constantly, making sure not to burn. Add tomato sauce, water and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 4 servings.
