BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES | |
1/4 c. oil 1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed 2 egg whites or egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped Blend oil and sugar. Stir in slightly beaten egg. Add flour and baking powder. Add vanilla and walnuts. Mix well and spread in oiled 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool slightly and cut into squares. |
