DEBORAH'S MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE
PIE
 
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. Pet milk (or regular milk)
2 egg yolks
2/3 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 frozen pie crust
1 recipe basic meringue

CRUST: Remove frozen pie crust from foil pie plate and place in glass pie plate. Microwave on High for 30 seconds, then prick sides and bottom thoroughly. Microwave on High for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes more. Rotate dish 1/4 turn, halfway through heating

PIE: Combine sugar, cocoa, and flour in large bowl and mix well. In separate bowl beat egg yolks, milk and softened butter together with electric mixer. Add to dry ingredients and beat well. Microwave on High for approximately 8 minutes stirring well every 2 minutes until thick. Stir in vanilla. Pour into cooked pie crust and top with meringue.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
