MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE OATRAGE
SNACK CAKE
 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/3 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 c. flour
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

In large mixing bowl, combine butter, oats, flour, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed or until mixture is light and fluffy. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Spread in 8-inch square microwave dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on high for 4 minutes; rotate dish 1/4 turn. Microwave on high again 3-4 minutes or until top of cake appears dry and bottom is an even color. Sprinkle remaining cup of chocolate chips over top of warm cake. Let stand 10 minutes, then spread.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
