MISS AUBIE'S FRUIT TARTS 
2 pkgs. dried apples or any fruit, undrained
1 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk

Cook fruit until tender with sugar. Drain and mash. Mix flour and Crisco; add milk to make dough. Take small amount of dough and roll thin. Spread about 2 1/2 tablespoons of fruit filling on one side of dough. Fold over. Trim edges. Place on cookie sheet with a pat of butter on each tart. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. You can add cinnamon to the fruit mixture, if desired.
