PRUNE CAKE 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
2 eggs
1 c. pitted prunes, cooked

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until well blended. Add eggs and Wesson oil. Mix until thoroughly blended. Add prunes and beat thoroughly. Pour into 9-inch lightly greased tube pan.

Bake in a 300°F oven 1 hour or until well done. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place cake on racks to cool completely.
