THINGS IN BLANKETS OR PIGS-IN-BLANKETS | |
Watch your guests' faces when they see a platter of these golden, dough-wrapped morsels. 1 (10 oz.) tube refrigerated biscuits 40 pieces each (total of any of all of the following: green or black pitted olives, 1" stick of salami or pepperoni, 1/2" cubes of cheese, drained & rinsed anchovies, cocktail sausages - or your own ideas) 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese (approx.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut each biscuit in quarters., stretch the dough into a small rope and wrap it around the center of each item. Roll each in Parmesan cheese. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to paper doily lined platter and serve hot. Yield: 40. |
