CHEESE SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
dash pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese

Make a white sauce and cook over hot water in a double boiler until the mixture has thickened to desired consistency. Add seasonings and cheese, stirring until cheese has melted.

This is a good sauce to use over vegetables or add to elbow macaroni for mac and cheese.

I love it. You can use a pot with water and take a bowl, make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. It is yummy over brussels sprouts!

You can make this sauce in the microwave very easily. Combine all ingredients, cook and stir at every 1 minute interval. Takes only 3-4 minutes depending on how much you make

I've tried this recipe it's great and simple. If you don't have the double boiler just use a large boiler with water and a smaller size sauce pan. Just place the sauce pan inside the boiler.
