FRIED RICE WITH ALMONDS 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 tbsp. oil
4 c. (uncooked) rice
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. sliced almonds

Cook rice according to directions on box. Set aside to cool. Saute onion, pepper, garlic salt and pepper in oil for 5 minutes. Add to rice. Mix in soy sauce and almonds; mix well. Pour back in skillet and heat thoroughly. (May be heated in microwave instead.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
