OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. wheat germ
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. chopped nuts or toasted sunflower seeds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter and honey until creamy. Combine with egg, vanilla and salt; blend. Mix flour, baking powder, wheat germ and rolled oats with a fork. Add the remaining ingredients. A few teaspoons of water may be added until dough is of proper consistency.

Spoon onto greased cookie sheets and flatten each cookie slightly with a spoon. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
