ASPARAGUS SOUP 
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. hot milk
2 1/2 c. cooked asparagus puree
1 tsp. grated onion

Puree cooked asparagus in blender. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Add pureed asparagus and onion; heat. Season if desired. Makes 2 cups.
