CHERRY BREAD - ONE LOAF 
1 c. pitted, chopped cherries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. lemon juice

Chop cherries in blender. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add with chopped cherries, nuts and lemon juice to creamed mixture. Mix until thoroughly blended. Pour into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
