APPLE CRISP 
4 c. apples, chopped
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour sifted
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter

Place apples in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with water, cinnamon and salt. Work together flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Spread crumb mixture over apples. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve warm with whipped cream.
