OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
3 c. uncooked oatmeal

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oatmeal and butterscotch morsels. Drop by level tablespoon onto ungreased cookies sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies; 9 to 10 minutes for crispier cookies. Makes about 4 dozen 3 inch cookies.
