SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES 
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. cooked, cubed chicken or 2 (5 oz.) cans boned chicken or tuna
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. chopped chives or onions
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
8 oz. refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese until smooth. Add spices, chicken, onions and pimento; mix well. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly pinch and press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture into center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top of center of meat mixture. Twist corners at top to seal. Brush tops with butter. Gently roll in bread crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Makes 4 "puff" sandwiches.
