"TEXAS" CHILI 
2 lbs. ground beef
3 cloves garlic, chopped
4 c. water
5 tbsp. flour
Salt & pepper to taste
2 med. onions, chopped
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. chili powder (more, if desired)

Lightly brown meat. Add chopped garlic and onion and saute. Add salt, pepper, flour, chili powder and stir well. Add tomato sauce and water. Let cook over low flame for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
