HOT SWEET AND SOUR SPINACH
DRESSING
 
1 c. water
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 tbsp. cooked bacon bits
1/3 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch and water. Serve hot. This is delicious on fresh spinach or lettuce salads.
