VIV'S MOM PEAR MARMALADE 
7-8 c. chopped pears
1 c. water
5 c. sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
2 sm. boxes apricot Jello

Prepare jars and seals in hot water. Cook above, EXCEPT Jello - until mixture is syrupy. (DO NOT cook until pears are soft.) Add Jello to mixture and stir well. After adding Jello cook about 3 minutes. Pour in jars and seal.
