FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. fresh strawberries
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. lemon juice
Whipped cream
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 baked 9 inch pie shell

Mix sugar, cornstarch, 1/2 cup crushed strawberries, water and lemon juice in a pan and cook until thickened. (Optional - add a few drops of red food color to make it a prettier red.) Let cool. Fill pie shell with whole or halved fresh berries and cover with cooked mixture. Chill. Garnish with whipped cream.
