SIRLOIN TIPS OVER RICE 
2 tbsp. oil
2 lb. sirloin tips, cut into 1-inch cubes (round steak can be used)
1 onion, minced
1 envelope dry soup mix (onion)
salt and pepper
1/2 c. flour
2 c. water or enough to make gravy

Heat oil in large skillet. Cook onion until tender. Salt and pepper meat and dredge in flour. Brown meat on all sides. Add water and onion soup mix. Reduce heat and cook until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Serve over rice.
