PORK CHOW MEIN | |
2 tbsp. fat 1 c. onions, chopped 4 stalks celery (leaves too), sliced 2 c. leftover pork 1 can bean sprouts with liquid (or 1 c. fresh sprouts and 1/4 c. water) 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can Chinese noodles Fry onion and celery in fat until golden. Add bean sprouts and simmer 15 minutes. Add pork and soy sauce and simmer 15 more minutes. Serve chow mein over noodles and/or rice. NOTE: If any gravy is left over from previous pork meals, it can be added. |
