LORENE HURD'S QUICK LASAGNA | |
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 1 lb. lean hamburger meat 1 lb. bag of egg noodles 8 oz. cream cheese 8 oz. sour cream 1 tbsp. dry minced onion 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. onion powder Reactivite minced onion in 1/3 cup water and set aside. Brown meat in large saucepan (season with salt and pepper to taste). Drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper and onion powder. Stir well. Simmer on low heat covered. Cook egg noodles as directed on package. While noodles are cooking mix sour cream, cream cheese, and minced onions in a large bowl. Drain cooked noodles and mix with cream cheese and sour cream coating well. In a glass baking dish 13 x 9 x 2 inches put a layer of sauce, a layer of noodles, a second layer of sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Romano cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes. This should make 2 casseroles. Freeze one for later. It can be baked in the oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. |
