MOM'S BANANA CAKE 
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. black walnuts, chopped and pounded fine
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
2 mashed bananas

Cream the butter and the sugar well. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. May be served plain or with whipped topping or a sour cream icing.
