ALMOND - DATE RICE PILAF 
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. beef bouillon
1/2 c. Sun Giant dates, chopped

Melt butter in a heavy skillet. Add rice and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently. Add almonds and cook 1-2 minutes more. Put rice, bouillon and dates in a heavy pan. Bring to a boil, cover and bring heat as low as possible. Cook without lifting cover or stirring until liquid is absorbed, 15-20 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
