ORANGE NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. soft shortening
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. orange juice (use frozen & DO NOT FULLY DILUTE. Use only one can of water to dilute, so that juice is very strong.)
3 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. nuts, chopped

Mix sugar, shortening and egg thoroughly. Stir in milk and orange juice. Blend dry ingredients; stir in. Add nuts. Bake at 350 degrees in 9 x 5 x 3 inch greased loaf pan for 60 to 70 minutes.
