NO FOOL PIE | |
3/4 stick (6 tbsp.) butter 1 c. self-rising flour 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. milk 1 to 1 1/2 c. drained fruit Melt butter in an 8 or 9-inch baking dish while oven is heating to 350 degrees. Set aside. Combine flour, sugar and about 1/2 of milk. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Add remaining milk and stir until smooth. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not mix. Place drained fruit over top of this mixture. Do not stir to combine. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned and center springs back when touched with a finger. |
