PUMPERNICKEL DILL DIP 
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. dill weed
1 1/2 tbsp. onion flakes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 pumpernickel bread loaf (unsliced)

Mix together the sour cream, mayo, dill, onion flakes and salt. Let sit and chill for about an hour.

Carve out the middle of dark pumpernickel bread so it looks like a canoe. Cut the remaining pieces into bite size pieces for dipping. Serve dip in the "canoe" with the bite sized pieces around it.
