BUNDT CAKE LA CREME 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil, vegetable or corn
1/2 c. orange juice
4 egg whites
2 c. whipping cream
1 c. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. Stir in oil and juice. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into batter and bake at 350 degrees in a greased bundt pan for 40-45 minutes. Whip heavy cream with 1 tablespoon sugar (La Creme from the store can be substituted). Saute slivered almonds in fry pan with 1 tablespoon sugar and butter until brown. Top cooled cake with cream and nuts.
