3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Sugar

Beat together shortening, sugar, eggs, Jello and vanilla. Blend in flour, salt and baking powder. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of a glass which has been greased and dipped in sugar. Bake 5-6 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 50-60 cookies.
