CHERRY DESSERT SQUARES 
1/2 c. 3-Minute Brand oats (quick or old-fashioned)
1 (1 layer size) pkg. white cake mix
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (21 oz.) can Comstock cherry pie filling
1/4 c. 3-Minute Brand oats (quick or old-fashioned)
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. butter, softened

Combine 1/2 cup oats, cake mix, and 3 tablespoons butter; mix until crumbly. Add about 2 tablespoons of the beaten egg to crumbs; mix well. Press into bottom and about 1/2 inch up sides of a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan to form crust. Add remaining egg to cream cheese; beat until smooth. Spread on crust. Spoon pie filling over all. Combine remaining ingredients; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle atop pie filling. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 35 minutes, or until golden. About 15 servings. For variety, try this recipe with Comstock apple or blueberry pie fillings.
