fresh strawberries or thawed (no sugar)
2 baked pie shells
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 large pack strawberry jello

Mix sugar, water and cornstarch.. Cook mixture until thick. Remove from heat. Add jello. Pat strawberries into pie shells. Add the mixture. Refrigerate until firm.
